Zum Thema

Every European country has its distinct development of health care system, different reimbursement logic and particular regulations. The scope and role of statutory health insurances also vary.

Although all of these countries require medical devices to be registered in a specific list or directory, the procedure, required documentation, fees, validity, and resulting reimbursement rates vary from country to country. It takes a lot of time and effort for manufacturers to familiarize themselves with these specifics.

The following countries will be covered in the webinars:

  • Italy and Spain
  • Belgium and the Netherlands
  • Austria and Switzerland

The seminars, including seminar materials, are held exclusively in English.

Zielgruppe

This seminar is aimed at manufacturers of medical devices who (wish to) make their products available on the European market. Even though there are similarities between the German and other European healthcare systems, it is essential to understand them thoroughly in order to successfully enter the market.

This is particularly important for new entrants, but even successful manufacturers can benefit from insights into simpler and faster processes. The aim is to familiarize medical technology companies with local reimbursement rules, key requirements, and success factors in selected countries.
