Berlin. The benefits of innovations in medical technology have to be proven more concretely in the future.

But the high diversity of medical devices requires different evaluating methods in the technological assessment procedures (HTA). For this reason, evaluation criteria used for the pharmaceutical industry in HTA can not be transferred 1:1 to medical devices.
